Hailing from Manchester, China Lane are a Quartet fronted by Reuben and Chloë Song Writers and Lead Vocalists, along with Danny and Jack producers / instrumentalists.
China Lane have written, recorded and produced their music in bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and many more make shift places.
After forming in April, they soon opened up for ‘Heaven 17’ at Lytham Festival along with playing ‘The great Escape’ Festival in Brighton.
The Quartet's debut soft release ’Marco Polo’ has received over 100,000 Spotify plays in just the space of 4 months. Having been added to “The best of introducing mix tape” on BBC RADIO 6 Music and also on various different youtube channels including ‘Wave of good noise’
Their latest music is described as Synth Powered, Funky Pop orientated, Alike to London Grammar, CHVRCHES and The 1975.
After recently flying to Berlin to film a session for ‘COLORS BERLIN’ and also SOFAR SESSIONS in Manchester, the traction is rapidly building up.
They Just sold out their first headline show at ‘Gullivers’ in Manchester!
China Lane are completely DIY and spend all of their time writing in their studio in Manchester.
