Pioneered in January 2024, the NQ Takeover was created as a way of exploring the best new bands and creating a community in the city for one night.

Taking place across Manchester’s historic Northern Quarter, the event includes various gigs and bands showcasing their talents in the best venues in the city. You can purchase individual show tickets or an ‘Access All Shows’ option and try to tackle all bands within a 7 minute walking circuit!

The NQ Takeover brings together Manchester’s independent music scene for one night of music, drinks and good vibes.

January 2025’s lineup saw yet more success, with over 1000 tickets sold and two shows entirely sold out.
