Glass Caves release new single 'Common Tongue'
SOTN management band Glass Caves have released latest single 'Common Tongue'.
The four-piece teased the release last Sunday with a short instrumental clip accompanied by an animated version of the artwork.
And that came after the track was premiered by BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire last Saturday, Alan Raw spinning the new single on his weekly show.
It is the second release from the band's 'Trilogy' EP, following October's well-received 'Taipei Nights'. Glass Caves are currently in the midst of a tour to support the EP, with a date in York coinciding with the release.
The EP has seen the four-piece step up a gear, proving that they are in a constant state of innovation while refusing to forget their roots.
While Glass Caves have always relished in their own inimitable brand of indie anthemia, it’s their latest recordings that harbour enough bombast to fill the venues.
Blending their traditional brand of indie with irresistible elements of funk and soul, it’s a fitting step up for a band who have rapidly come in to their own.
